Q: What are the entry procedures for the job fair?

A: Every customer attending the job fair will check in first with the receptionist and receive a job fair packet with a registration form ). You will be directed to fill out the registration form and turn it in at the registration table. The staff at the registration table will look you up on www.pacareerlink.pa.gov and help you with resetting your password, if necessary, or help you register with PA CareerLink®.  Once this step is completed, you will be directed into the job fair to meet with the employers and training providers.

Q: Do I need to be registered with PA CareerLink® to attend?

A: You will not need to be registered prior to attending. However, our entry procedures for the job fair require you to be registered with PA CareerLink®.  We encourage you to complete your registration at www.pacareerlink.pa.gov prior to coming to the event,

but we will have computers and Program Aides available to help you complete your registration that day.

Q: Can I print out copies of my resume at the PA CareerLink®?

A: Yes!  We have computers and resume paper available for you to print out copies of your resume for the job fair.  Let the receptionist know when you arrive that you need to print resume copies.

Q: What should I do if I don't have a resume?

A: We encourage you to create your PA CareerLink® resume on your www.pacareerlink.pa.gov account.  In addition, our offices in Lawrence and Mercer Counties hold free Resume Writing Workshops.  Check the events calendar on your PA CareerLink® dashboard for dates and times.
